Theres a little smoke out that back-end of my car and it makes a sound sort of like a gunshot every time I let off the accelerator. I think my Flux Capacitor is going bad, how do Ireplace it? and where should iIget the new one, racing beat?

all stock, the muffler is rusted and I plan on replacing it soon. But sometimes when I start it, it smokes really really really bad. go out half and hour later and its fine. what causes this?

Hey comeonstart... I've been having the same popping when I let go the accelerator, except mine doesn't smoke. I think it might be a small exhaust leak, but I'm not very knowledgeable of the subject. Please let me know if you figure it out cause I need to get on it too.

Maybe you should just ditch the old system and go with the Mr. Fusion. I hear you get significant power gains.

Even so, you still need to adjust your mixture, and possibly check your idle dampener as well. I think that's what it's called. It slows the RPM drop when you let off the gas, so it doesn't fall back to an idle too quickly and cause the backfiring.

The flux capacitor is mounted under the hood of your car. on the passenger side it has a little hose coming out of it and says flux capacitor on the side.

After you replace the flux capacitor, watch out for a bit of a bump at 88 mph...

1 word oven cleaner it works wonders for metal like the air cleaner box. just get some cheap oven cleaner spray it on and let it sit about 5 minutes and scrub a bit then rinse and voila. if the metal or paint starts to dissolve then you've waited too long lol, j/k. but it really does work good.
