someone oughta update the FAQ

 

Another question on these NGK plugs... Are they set to a specific gap? Just screw them in? I read somewhere, just hand tighten them. I don't wanna eat up my apex seals.

 

gap is preset on the ngk plugs.

 

Br8eq is the stock recommended plug.
br7eq (p)
br9eq (p)
br7eix

will all work in your daily driven 12a rx7. No gap set is needed. Tighten them a couple turns past hand tight with a wrench. There is a crush washer that needs to be flattend. Not much past hand tight though or you aluminum housing threads could be stripped.
