Honestly if I had garage space and room, I’d consider that. Little 12a runs fine, tranny shifts excellent.

You can always pay someone but a good welder is expensive and will probably cost what you paid for the car if it was sub 1k . I

True, not worth it to me. I donated the car to charity. I’ll keep looking.. and inspect the next one more thoroughly.
