Having a bear of a time with this thing welded two
cracks, Tryed it small leak still rewelded that.
Put it on again better tightened abit more,
crap new crack welded that will try It again tomorrow.
Well hope it works this time. Here is a pic of the mess

Tested it today oil cooler not leaking Ya!
Had to put some sealing tape on the oil line treads.
It was still getting a little leakage.
After that it ran for half an hour not a drop!
I ran the engine up to 2200 rpm for awhile to get
the oil pressure at max. and it is holding.

I cracked mine a while ago, I was in a machining class at the time so I made new, super thick, fittings for the lines and had the welding class teacher weld them on. Not a single leak or crack in over a year.

Well that was the next step I was going to take.
The welder that helped me said he could also make
a new fitting for it, but he said just the die to tap it
was 50 dollars. I paid him 40 for this work and if it
holds for the summer or more, I will buy him a case of
beer!

Grinding was done by him but I had to file the fitting
flat on top. He had to build up over the top of the fitting
to get some of the cracks done. Filing it flat again to
match the machined suface was one of the hardest things to do.
