Years back DINAN was seeking out GSL-SEs to do such a mod.. nothing came out of it as I am aware of... and no, the FC electronics will not work for the first gen.

Nope theres no chips out there for the GSL-SE. Honestly the fuel injection for the gsl-se is pretty primitive, not much you can do to improve it than go standalone.

depends because you can get a microtech LT4 for $580. and you dont have to buy any sensors. you can even ad 2 more injectors with this ecu

could i swap a 2nd gen ecu into my car. They are basicly the same engine. how much of a hp increase comes with the microtech systems and is it worth the cost?

the 2 gen ecu and harness swap is verry complicated to swap and no none of the 2 gen ecu compontment are swapable, is better get a holley carb setup or just get a lt4 because you can tune it for N/A, turbo, more power, less power. tune it the way you want it

No you cannot swap over a second gen ecu, unless your going to put the second gen engine in as well. The GSL-SE has 2 fuel injectors whereas the second gen has 4.
