I am using my FB slave. Works like a champ. All you have to do is grind a bit off the push rod that's inside of it to make it fit. No need for a T2 slave.

Ya know, it seems kinda crazy to spend tons of money on a TII swap, and then skimp out on a $30 part dont you think?

It's not skimping out. It works the same as the T2 unit.

Yes, you could cut about a half inch from the FB Slave rod an it'll work.

Eventually, get the TII one, to make sure you get the exact clutch travel, and you don't shorten the lifespan of your clutch, or **** things up when power-shifting.

By the way everybody - please post all TurboFB swap questions in the main thread. That way all answers are in one place.

If you decide to get the TII slave, nothing else needs changing. The internal dimensions of the slaves are the same, only the mounting points are different.

The problem with posting all this on the main thread is it's now a pita to get to. Why did it get moved from the main page to the archive? Turbo swaps has to be one of the number one threads in this section, the thread should be moved back.
