E-bay's raining FBs

I'm actually considering two of these cars. I've got $2k of someone else's money and he wants a car when he gets back to the states. What do y'all think? If nothing else, they seem to be pretty straight cars that need a home.

I wouldn't buy a car on Ebay without actually going to inspect it first...if it was something that I wasn't just using for parts.

Thats the one problem with ebay, is that alot of the cheap cars, are being sold by 16 year old kids, who aren't even old enough to have an Ebay account.

The car shows up at your house after $2000 in price, and $600 in freight delivery.......and it doesn't run, or falls apart as you sit in it.

When shopping for cars on Ebay, I only search in my Phoenix region, so I can go look at the car if I'm interested.

See, I have it easy- I won't buy a 12A. Yes, I'm picky like that...

... Oh man I saw the grey '85 and was like, oh man only 625 for that??? Then I scrolled the picture down and saw the huge dents in the fender... uhgggghhhh that's horrible.

The third car is crap for that price. Interior is ripped to ****, and the owner doesn't even know the size of the engine.

I hope they all get good homes.

I bought a 1985 GSL-SE for my mother off of E-Bay. I have not regretted it. I did plenty of communication with the owner before auction end and felt very comfortable buying from him. My mother flew down to meet him in SC. He met her at the airport and drove her to his shop. Put her plates on the car and gave her a quick run through of the cars operation. She drove it home to Maryland without a problem. I would not bid on a car when you e-mail the seller with questions and they go unanswered. I do agree with others that you put yourself at risk if you can not go and see it in person before buying.

Hey... last one is close to my hometown. Looks like garbage though, especially for $1000.

I've sold a car on eBay and it was a very good experience. Hell, I had people offer me more money for it after the auction to get me to sell it to them instead, lol.
