Question Pedals/Pedal Covers

After 22 years of use, my pedal covers are pretty worn out. The side of the brake pedal is practically gone, and the clutch pedal is so smooth that I can barely drive when my shoes are wet. So, I'd like to get some new ones, but not OEM.

I have no idea what fits well and what doesn't fit well, just that most of the pedal sets on the market are tacky as hell. I'd like a set that has a dead pedal and an accelerator pedal that is good for heel and toe. Any ideas?

BTW, I did a search on this and the threads I found were mostly pointless arguments and unhelpful info.

Those are awesome, exactly what I was looking for, but do they fit the FB? It says FC and FD but nothing about FB's.

Wonder how grip tape from a skateboard would work on the bare pedals.

Maybe if we show them that FB pedals have a market (harass them) they'll make a kit for our cars

Everybody who want's pedals should go say something

I was also gonna mention Grip tape off skateboards. You could probably do that until you find something you like. And those rotor pedals are gonna be part of a group buy. They are pushing to make them for SA/ and FB's.

I gave my friend an extra brake pedal pad/cover/rubber thing from a FB parts car I had and it fit fine on his S4 vert. It was a stock piece but it tells me that at least the brake and clutch pedals are the same size.

s3 pedals are smaller than s2? how about australian spec pedals compared to u.s. spec? smaller? i bought a weatherstrip kit that came with new pedal covers but they are too small for my 82 pedals by about at least a 1/4" thanks guys

For the S1/S2 pedals, you can find some cheaper rubber covers at most parts stores. They don't claim to fit a Mazda, rather a ford.......
I don't like any kind of pedal covers that are not made of a slip resistant material, but, I'm not into how they look, more into how they work and keeping my feet from slipping off.

Autovation Pedals installed in my 84.
No matter what Shoes I have worn they have never slipped off the Pedals. They are even easy on Bare Feet.
I tried the $19.95 cheapies and the Holding Straps on the backs would keep falling off. You get what you pay for.

Off topic I know, but, what steering wheel is that, and what diameter? I'm considering going with a smaller diameter wheel as the stock one feels like it belongs on a Peterbuilt.
