I'm not actually involved with this product, I'm just trying to pressure the company into making them for 1st gens...

I don't know... The FC's are $60-70 right now (depending on finish), but that's a goup buy price
Here's the link to the FC/FD page

I'm for anything new to fit these cars. I doubt I would want them though. Ever have your foot slip off the clutch or brake pedal at an inopprotune time? I have, not a comfortable feeling. I drive my car too much to risk it happening again.
They would be great on a show car.
I would prefer a rubber pad, with a rotor shaped insert, but that's just me.

if you want fancy pedals so bad, why not go to a Good Will Thrift Store, buy a thick aluminum frying pan, cut the design you want, buff it, and mount with some fancy allen headed screws??

Trak Auto, Advanced Auto et. al. has some ricey ones.

I hear you. Supposedly the pedals are pretty slip resistant, and the company has a pretty good resume (they make the pedals for the Roush Mustang)...

If they make a 1st gen set, I'll buy one and let you know how they feel....

I think you're on your own there, but they are making a couple other versions for the FC/FD's

I would, but I
a) don't have the metal working skills
b) have enough RX related projects right now

Aluminum cuts easy with a hack saw. If you are really lazy, drill a series of holes instead of cutting, and sand down with a hand held drill. Safety goggles are a must!

If you've ever gotten a piece of metal in your eye, you know what I mean.

One of you guys that have both an FB and FC should compare the stock pedals... After diong so we may or may not need to bug these guys to redesign them to fit the FB! I really opened a can of worms by posting the link to the group buy in the first place. Funny it went unnoticed for some time by us first gen guys and gals who want products for our 7s!!!

Eh, even if we find out that the FC pedals will fit an S3 FB. We missed out on the group buy! I'd rather see a redesign and then another group buy.

I agree...

Besides, we 1st gen guys always have to "get stuff to fit" our cars. It's aways nicer when we can get somthing made specifically fo us. Even if they're the right size/shape there's a good chance mounting points would be different.

I emailed Autovation, and they said that they'd make the pedals if I sent a template of the OEM pedals. I'll send a template today and hopefully they'll have them available soon

What are the year differences for the pedals? If you have different pedals than mine (83) you'll probably need to make a template to send them.
