Here's a link http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm

Click on select category and then exhaust components and then scroll down to 3" universal presilencer and 3" universal muffler. These are great products.

my system has been on my car for 12 years, not blown out yet,as far as noise,i can pass sound at PIR at 10 pm,the noise limit is 90 DB.my header and silencers are sprayed with thermal barrier heat release.

I may be droping this project due to lack of funds and would rather do other upgrades first. A p-port project really is more moneythan I thought. Probaly around the same price as doing a Turbo swap.

Just find a s5 rotating assy and a alum flywheel and put it together. Just run stock 2mm seals and if you can find a used set use them and don't worry about balancing it. That is all I was going to do to the housings that I sold you. In other words buiold a dirty motor

I always wanted to go side draft PP, but whenever I asked I just got the typical "Just use the 48/51 IDA that has been proven again and again yadda yadda"

I don't know about those guys, but I drive a unique car, and I want unique mods

It should work. Are you going for the Lake-City-esk or Wrap around style PP?

Unsure I seen a side draft on youtube. I would have to make a mounting flange for the 55mm dcoe. And for the price I am getting thecarb I cant get a 51mm IDA I am getting it for almost what i would pay for a new IDA or a good used itialian IDA.

if you want to go side draft try this this.
http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=16490

buy two 45 elbows and weld them on. its be easy to make your own dcoe that way.
and i dont know if you have seen this link.

It's actually a IDA style throttle body, yes it is 4 injector,i just cut the manifold down because i want it all under the hood,it will also make for a much broader powerband,i will also have to make a custom airbox.

Ok pportnosgsl what apex seals are you using and blown7. I dont have the big $ to spend so I am leading to the racing beat but if I think I might go turbo maybe the RA seals I know there heavy but I think they will work ok.
