out with the old in with the older?

yup, i sold my RX-7 TurboII second gen. Some people would ask why? and the answer is i like FBs, their lightweight and a blast to drive, currently i'm building an all motor and hoping for 11s, yes 11s..my uncle's friend was bought (or sent to him) a wrong motor (what motor?) a 20B. that's right a 20B, but it doesn't have anything else connected to it, just plain ole 20B block. I'm buying it from him with the money i got for the TurboII. It's going to be built for 11s on drag radials, yes that's ~320HP i'm looking for in a 2600 LB car. i bought it from the city tow for 350 bucks! the 12A is in great shape, unfortunatly , waiting for it to die, it may not? Maybe bridgeport it for the heck of it. If my engine finish early and 12A doesn't fail. 83K on ODO.

i've already swap out the rear end, and boy it's even more fun to drive, the back in takes just a lil throttle to induce oversteer and burn outs are just crazy. Yeah yeah I know people going to say IMPOSSIBLE and blah blah but i've been working with rotaries for awhile now.

I have a racing tranny already and other misc things, going for 11s

"along with a pile of cash"

well he's got the 20b block, and sold a TII.... he's a good ways there!

My advice man: see if you can get some cash for the 12a. If you aren't gonna use it, there are some people who *will* rebuild and use it. Hell, around here a 12a block that's out of a junker will run ya $800 Canadian ($560USD for you yanks). That's not even rebuilt! Sell it and use the funds to help ya make your 11sec dream

I wish ya the best of luck on that man. How the hell does someone "accidentally" get sent a 20b? **** man, why can't I have luck lik ethat?

Wait a second... methanol IS alcohol... unless you're gonna be running cornwhiskey through a that blender under the hood, you're gonna be running methanol, too...
