Other possibility.,

instead of the crazy 13B idea,...
I was thinking maybe an SR20DET, or RB25DETT, or 2JZ, or 4G63.

take less than a week to put either engine in.

i hope you have a lot of money for this project. if money isnt an issue, 4g63. rbs5dett and 2jz are too big. the SR20 is easy and cheap. a forum member did this swap for relatively cheap and its a good engine. id also consider 3s-gte as well.

This kid is clueless Matt, it took you over a year to prepare for your Turbo II swap and he thinks he's gonna build a 13B to hit 10K in less than a month? He's dreaming. He needs to remember that life doesn't have a reset button if he ***** up or Ctrl Alt Delete LOL

btw, my friend is a fabricator, and mechanic. can put together an entire engine in no time at all.
I could have an SR20 in it in under a week.
as far as the rotary Idea,......whatever, I was told it can be done, so I wanted to try it. I was told ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is upgrade the fuel management system, overdrive the water pump, and just get a normal engine rebuild.
that is what I was told by some rx-7 owners on the island, I'm not the expert,
that's what they said.
you shot me down, and I'm probably going to try something else, since it's obviously impossible. thx

V8 is always a possibility if you want to go piston.

I'll say it again for those you are hard of hearing. If anyone wants to give him other than rotary suggestions, then would you just pm him please.
