Arrow orange '85 GSL-SE

Here are some photos I have of the car. I will get more when it actually arrives here in 2 days. So far what I know it has is: RB headers/intake, aftermarket carb (can anyone identify which one?), aftermarket cat-back, 17" Fittipaldi wheels (too big?), front and rear springs/struts also I believe, and rear seats.

I will get some better photos with my camera when it arrives. I also may sell those Fittipaldi's in favor of some racing 15x7" wheels a friend of mine has but I'm still not sure about that.

Mike

To answer some questions:

1) It didn't cost me anything really, except for transport costs and soon smog and registration costs. I traded it straight across for my '71 RX-2 to a guy in FL.

2) Throttle linkage photo, why? Just curious.

3) I don't think it's a Dellorto. I had a Dellorto on my RX-2 and it was a little different. I'm thinking it's a Mikuni or Weber. Guess I'll know for sure soon enough.

4) rear seats - can you normally see them from the rear hatch area? I was told it had rear seats but maybe not. Not really a huge deal either way.

I believe thats a Weber carb.

I want to see the throttle linkage, it looks different than mine. I like the looks of that one better.

After Zooming in on it and Your Pic, they do look different.

So you traded that RX-2 for it, I remember when you had that thing on ebay, real nice shape, but I think you got the better end of the deal. Wish I could stumble across a sweet deal like that (wanna trade for a red 2nd gen?).

I thought the same thing, but my friend was real determined and wanted my RX-2 badly. There was no rust on the RX-2 which I guess is somewhat rare over there since most of the older cars come from around the east cost areas and are badly rotted.

Trade for a 2nd gen? Probably not unless it's a TII or GTUs. I want to at least get the car first before I do anything. Also, no offense or anything but red is my least favorite car color.

It does not qualify. Too bad, cause I'd like a tasty orange treat.
