Exclamation Opinions on this seven please!!!

I called about an 85 rx-7 for $750 that needs engine work. After talking to the guy, he said hell take $500. It doesnt start, and he says it has water in the oil. Im selling my car for $1700 so that would leave me with about $900 to a grand left to work with( title transfer needs money put aside) so whatever needs to be done needs to be cheap. What do you guys think? I drove buy and the body looks really good...im in love already...

if it has water in the oil, then chances are you are going to need to do a rebuild..

With a new engine you will burn through that amount of cash in a heartbeat.
You could possibly find a good used engine in your price range.
I think I would wait and find a better buy.

Hehe, I bought mine for $500, but now I've got a ton invested in it because it needed a new engine and the stuff that goes with that.
