one rotor firing

I wrote a thread about this before but I have an 84 gsl-se

hasnt ran in 2 years only 70k on it

anyway, only one rotor fires and I've redone the gas, changed injectors, cleaned plugs, plugs firing, checked compression by hand i.e both rotors blow my finger out of the spark plug hole.

anyway the car is in PA and I'm going home from SC to get it running but no joke I had a dream that the problem was with the timing

could timing be off in such a fashion that one rotor would fire and not the other?

Nope, sorry. Check the plug wires, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor.

Well, if you have good compression in both housings and close numbers on all three sides of the rotor then you are firing on both rotors.

What you may be experiencing is only 1 injector firing. Have you pulled the plugs in both housings and checked to see what they look like?

yes I actually completely replaced the injectors just to be sure.

the only thing i can famine could be wrong with the injection is the injector clips and I'm going to replace them in a couple days

and I am definitely just running on the front rotor though...
