13Bt is definetly the more common swap. Fair amount easier and there have been alot of people who have done it and can share their knowledge about what to do/not to do.

The 13B REW has been done a few times but it is much more difficult and to do it right will cost you at least 10g

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hlight=13B+REW

there are a couple other threads. search 13B REW in the 1st gen section and itll bring up a bunch of info. similarily 13B tII swap, there is a ton of info on those ones.

yea i def do not have 10k to drop in any vehicle right now so t2 is my best bet... How hard would it be to get 350-400 reliable horses out of it though i know that will be expensive but later on down the road also

Rotaryshack has a car with, IIRC, 680 RWHP. I think that's his username, too, but I can't remember that well.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to get some massive power out of these things. Besides Rotaryshack, member Directfreak has a car you should check out on via his YouTube links. Do some searching, you'll be amazed.

Getting 350-400hp on a TII will take about 5 grand on top of the cost for the base engine swap, mabey more. That would require a bigger turbo, FMIC, much bigger injectors, stand alone ECU, possible streetporting... The list goes on. I remember reading once that to get to 500hp and have it track and road worthy (safe and legal), it took directfreak 20 grand.

As far as rotaryshack, it USED to be a 680hp 12A. Last I saw it was up to 720hp.

If you have some spare time try a bunch of different searchs about t2 power and swaps and what not. There is a TON of useful information about various peoples swaps, and how to get power and how much it cost etc etc. Just takes a bit to find the threads that help a bunch.

Directfreak is definetly good to check out but he has put quite a bit of money into his project.

As well once you start getting above 250-300 HP you need to start doing other conversions, such as rear end, big brake kit is definetly recommended, and suspension. Are you planning on a drag car or a track car. Give us some more info about what you would like to do and which car you are going to put it in and you will get more answers
On the searching side again there are a couple useful Project thread with pictures and processes in them

Good hunting

The FC engines are too easy to swap do the REW. Which is not that hard either. So your 12A pooped finally after drifting a buch huh? That's how mine died to. The coolant o-ring failed. I opted for the S5 NA engine in mine working on it still. Waiting for parts actually. I'll let you know hoe it slides went it's done if your into drifting

this has been covered quite a bit. Do a bit of searching

As well, go over to www.nopistons.com, check out their info. They have quite a bit on porting in the engine building section more how to. And a bunch of info in a couple other sections. Just take a look around
