Did the front ring and pinion from a Kia Sportage work?

I really don't remember reading about this on another tread. Wish I could help.

 

It was long ago ...

The Miata gears or diff is suppose to work in a first gen .. and the Kia 4x4 front diff pinion set is suppose to work in the Miata so that means its suppose to work in the first gen 7 ...

I think its geared at 4.5 something? Does someone knowq?

Sup sup.. I been in **** kneee high .. im at a net cafe using the internet.. it sucks.. still tring to get my FB done soon .. maybe by Mid Dec.. I got the parts.. I just got to paint and put **** together...
