Griffen Aluminum radiator install

Installed my griffin aluminum radiator today.. Came out pretty good.. I need to know who has installed this? I have one question.. The lower hose on the radiator is 1-3/4" and my TII water pump housing lower outlet is 1-12" what hose can I use? Do they make them with diff ends? Just wondering..

Yes you can get them with two different ends. I came across a few when I was trying to get one that fit my application. They are not as common but they are out there. You might have to search a few auto stores to get the right one.

They have all the hoses on the wall just ask to check them out so you can find what you want.

Great Setup!
I just drove 1700 Miles with my new Rad and Factory Thermo-Water Pump & Everthing else including Hoses w/Redline WaterWetter-Distilled Water and 50\50 AntiFreeze, for some reason I hit Temps up to 195% ???
Nordskog Digital Gauge.
Before the Change Out Temps never hit above 182%???? Thats even at driving with outside temps being in the 95-110% area.

This trip never hit above 65% outside Temp.
Still using the Fan Clutch Set-Up. I took a spare Fan Clutch with me on this trip and at Half way through changed it out with the same Temps had the same results.
Maybe time to change to a 1500-1650CFM i.e. 15-16" Electric Fan.

AnyHow to get to the point is there any benifit to go from the Factory Rad to Aluminum?
I'm runnning the 3 Row design for the Under Oil Cooler in my 84GSL
another word a 79-82 Radiator.
Why is it that after all this money and upgrades did my Temp Go Up?

Any Idea to what is going on here.
This is a StreetPorted-BridgePorted RB/Prepped Holley-SP Exhaust Pinnaple Racing Prepped 12A Motor w/-many many other Goodies.

Good Choice on the Fuel Reg.

I don't know what cars have them but they should have what you need. You can always take some flex tubing and bend in the shape that you need then take that tube to the store and match the closest one to it.

Gonzz;
When you get everything setup any running could you PM me to how Installed the Radiator and what parts needed to Run This Setup.
Are you going with a Electric Fan or are you going to use the Fan-Clutch.
Have Fun

Update.. I finally got both hoses. I bought one and tried to make it work and wasted 17.00.. Decided to go to Napa this time and they had a book to look up the exact size I needed.. 7.50 ea.. Will install them in the moring and snap some pics.. Ended up getting 2 flex hoses with coils in them. 14" long

Damn nice finally seeing one installed I've been thinking about this radiator for a few, but I think I'm going to have a local RAD shop make something up for me out of copper since it disapates heat better than aluminum anyway.

Finally done. Install was pretty easy. I welded in some steel for the botom mount and had four mounts tigged on top. Two of the rear mounts on top support the radiator and the forward two mounts will support the top of my E-fan.

What are you doing for oil cooling? I don't see a beehive nor a FMOC.....

Is the rad so thick that you just can't see the FMOC under it? If you are running a FMOC, did you have to make custom brackets to mount it?
