Question ok turbo sizing delima...

1st off idk if delima is spelled right but i dont care lol....alright i've already decided 2 ditch the twins off the rew motor i bought a while back seeing as everyone says the stock twins tend 2 suck and everything bla bla bla, so im upgrading to single, but my question is what size should i go, a nice lil t04 or something a lil bigger, what i want the car 2 be is mostly a badass street strip car, not gonna b that much of a daily, just somethin 2 take to the track an mess round with, that's the whole reason i bought the car in the 1st place, so i'd like some input as to the turbo sizes you guy's/girls are runnin, along with what kind of hp/performance your gettin out of 'em, just so i can further get an idea as to which one i should just settle for

First of all you should be posting this in the Single turbo section. But honestly id have to say you can't always go with the setup that others have used and dynoed big numbers with. The thing is sure big numbers can be hit, but more lag is the resultant.

I should mention that I have a similar problem with choosing the turbo for my TII swap im going to do. Its a toss up between a 60-1 or a T-78. Sure the T-78 will make more power, but at the same time laggy as hell where as the 60-1 spools really quick.

How much hp do you want?

What kind of spool time?

What kind of money do you want to spend?

GT35/40 or Apexi RX6. I would choose something about the same size as those.

I wish that I could help you more but I am not to familiar with the "smaller" turbos.

those are both good choices for around town boosted fun or my favorite turbo for quick spooling, extremly efficiant at lower boost levels and a blast for around town driving, a 60-1 with a p trim
