Oilcooler

Is a beehive oilcooler worth it? My friend said not to put one on, but I think hes confused. He thought I had a FMOC but I dont. Im assuming they would be better over not haveing one.

yes its worth it, lol. it'll cool your engine's oil and cause it not to overheat. you ABSOLUTELY MUST have an oil cooler on a rotary. something is better than nothing.

You have an '82 that DOESN'T have a front oil cooler? Where the heck did it go? All 82's in stock trim had one. Also, if you don't have the front oil cooler and you don't have the beehive cooler, what the heck do you have attached to the two oil ports on the motor that are either attached to the front oil cooler or the beehive?

If you radiator looks really really tall then you have a front mount after all. The oil cooler is placed beneath the radiator.
