oil temp range?
i reciently remounted my oil cooler out onto the front of that cross bar that you can see through the front end (in the radiator opening)...
since then i have not seen my oil temps above 170 degrees (usually around 160)..
(and for those that are curious, water still does not go above 180)
what is the acceptable temp range (low and high)... i am almost concerned that my temps are now tooo low..
(the temp readings are taken off of an autometer gauge , not the stock ones)...

Re: oil temp range?
According to Racing Beat booklet:
Normal Oil temperature varies quite a bit depending on the operating conditions, but usuall stabilizes between 140F and 200F. If the temperature execeeds 210F, reduce the loead on the engine immediately.
So basically between 140F and 200F are considered normal oil temp ranges... again, depending on outside temperatures....
