Oil pressure problem on SE

Never overfill the crankcase. If the drop was due to lack of oil, the low oil light would come on. What weight of oil are you running? It's near the time to go to 20W50 for summer. Smell your oil for fuel contamination. If positive, change it. Any other answers you may not like.

Before you do anything else get a aftermarket oil pressure gauge and the adapter and determine if your reading is correct. :-)
