TN Oil Pressure, FOPR, ROPR, OP Gasket, Factoid....

If there is/are "Stickeys", please direct me to them. (I've done the thread search and the amount of posts/data is voluminous with way too much "gossip" and "repetitive" info).

OP Gasket - Need to change out as I've got a leaky seal around numerous parts of the pan.

....and while I'm in there.....

FOPR/ROPR - I need to do something with these to bump my OP. I've read to change to FD, whack it with a hammer(ROPR) (which is my #1 option cuz it's free).

Oil Pressure - It may be in the FSM, I need to look. In the meantime, I'd like to know the "flow-chart" for oil in the 13b, and where "most" likely my problem has originated from (problem being "low" pressure). I've changed the sender out twice so I'm comfortable the readings are accurate/consistent w/out using a mechanical.

TIA everyone.

You might try installing an after market oil pressure sender and gauge. I added a new oil filter pedestal that has two places for extra gauges. You can also just add a block that goes under the current pedestal.

low oil pressure is likely to be a bad o-ring on the front cover.

although if you tried used oil pressure senders they are likely both bad, they are all bad.

stock oil pressure is 71psi, the FD is set to 110psi, and if you crush the stock one you'd get 80 something.

Mazda used sealant on the oil pan

The car has sit in the garage for 2+ years with vacuum hose issues. I finally got those patent this summer.

I will start with a new filter/oil change and go from there. I have an oil pressure tester that I can use to verify my current/future numbers.
