Question Oil Pressure

Hey all, what is the typical oil pressure at startup and at certain RPMs and such for a GSL-SE? Does anyone know of a chart? What does too high/ too low oil pressure signify?

Thanks!

I just posted on this topic. Was told at idle 13-38. 60+ at 3000rpm. Mine is idleing a bit high at 1k rpm around 40-45psi. 2000 rpm near the 60 mark. 3000 rpm 65-70. Doesn't go much more at higher rpms.

What oil are you running? I am using 10W-30 as per the hood sticker, but have noticed alot of people using 20W-50. I will most likely change to the thicker oil since it is warming up outside. With my stock gauge, I am getting roughly 45-50 PSI oil pressure at 3K. Not sure if my gauge is accurate but it seems to fluctuate with engine speed as it should.

With the RB 90psi rear oil pressure regulator, my REPU goes up to 90 PSI when cold, then idles @ 20-30 psi and caps out @ 80-90 @ 4000rpms when floored.

You want 10psi per 1000rpms at all time so that works out great with my 8000rpm rev limiter pill in the MSD 6AL.
