oil pan question

oil pan question

i need help identifying my oil pan. on my old motor the oil pan on there has two wires for the oil level sensor. the motor i have in my car now, the oil pan has only one wire for the oil level sensor. can somebody tell me why its like this. i don't know what to hook the wires to. the old one has 3 screws for the oil level sensor. the one on the car don't. it looks like it just screws in. my car is a SA22C. any help or info would help

On the 79/80 the oil level sensor was screwed in and had 2 wires the 81 and up all were held in with 3 bolts and only had one wire.

so how do i go about hooking it up. the harness in my car is two wires. can i use either one of them or do i have to run a separate wire into the car for the cluster.

You could swap oil pans, or eliminate the oil level sensor all together.

If I am right one wire is a ground and the other is power .The one wire system its grouned by the oil like the water level sensor.
