im going to premix and want to take off my omp. do i need a block off plate for it or can i just take it off

Take the pump off, use it to make a pattern for the block off plate out of 1/8" steel or 3/16" aluminum. Buy a sheet of gasket paper, make a gasket and bolt it on. Not hard to do. Don't forget to cap the nipples on the carb/intake, or you will have a vacuum leak.
