Some report an increase in mileage while others report a decrease. I know mine went down a bit, but not that much. If you are using it as a daily driver then you probably should not take it off.

Pro:
- Simplifies the hell out of everything.
- Say goodbye to vacuum leaks 'cause you have only two or three sources to check.
- It's SOOOO much easier to reach the idle speed screw.
- It cleans up the top of your engine area, making it look much nicer
- This mod goes hand-in-hand with getting a performance exhaust like RacingBeat, since the air pump, air control valve, anti-afterburn valves and shutter valves are all gone.
- Did I mention it simplifies everything?

Con:
- If you live in a province where they have emissions testing, you can't do this awesome mod.

Pros = *

Cons = nothing unless you have to pass emissions, and even then a hook up can help you out...

If you need to pass emisions just retard the timing and lun about half a tank of e85 in with your usualy fill up of 87. You will probably have to richen the mixture to keep the car idleing but do it just enough to stop the car from dieing. You will definatly pass...

Down here we all see improved mileage with this mod. It's probably the cheapest, simplest reliability mod that you can do. That and the belt that the guide tells you to put on as a replacement is one of the strongest damn belts I've ever used.
