Oil metering pump

With the new Holley setup and the new intake. Where do you specifically run the oil metering pump lines into the carburetor? Also, where do attach the arm lever for it at?

You can run the lines directly into the intake manifold, one line per intake pipe...or just run full premix.

Which would you recommend.

If I do run the lines into intake manifold where would I hook up the lever that is attached to the pump or do I lock into the up position?

You have to make a "throttle cable" for the lever since it will run in synchronization with the carb's throttle. The more wide open the throttle the more oil the pump will pump. Run a cable to the lever and connect it to the carb's throttle. If you decide to run premix and keep the OMP, then leave it as it is, with the throttle on the OMP at minimum (closed). You will have to do something about the lines for the OMP since it will still pump a little oil even when disabled. Or you could remove the OMP and make a block off plate using sheet aluminum and maybe some gasket paper and Permatex. You would have to make sure to use a 16 oz Marvel Mystery Oil or 2 cycle oil per full tank ratio if you decide to disable the OMP. This can be annoying having to premix every single time you fill up with gas, but it is much better in my opinion.
