Hey guys,
I don't post often, but I have a question that I hope you guys could help me with. On my 74 REPU I took the carb, and intake off of the engine yesterday due to a coolant leak from the o-ring area of the manifold. While doing this I cracked the oil injection tube where it changes from plastic to rubber(just before it attached to the carb fitting). Well actually the rubber cracked, and the plastic seems fine. I see that these parts are NLA from Mazda or Mazdatrix. Can I just get some rubber hose and slip it over the plastic line, or is there a better fix? There are only two instead of four like on a GSL-SE as it is a carb motor, and only a 4-port. Any help would be much appreciated. Also I have a question regarding the rotor housings on this motor, but maybe I will ask in another thread.
