Unhappy Oil Cooler started leaking

I just noticed hte other day that I had oil (more than usual) on underside of my car. It was bad enough to have the lower control arm covered (not soaked, but definatly had oil) and I traced it back to the oil cooler. I'm thinking a rock went through and damaged some fins, there arre a couple places it could be. Should I just take it to a rad shop and have it repaired? And I can't remember the special precautions to take when removing the lines, anyone care to refresh my memory? Should I bother looking into SS lines? Thanks, George.

Personally I would go to the scrap yard and get another cooler , but thats just me.

As far as removing the cooler lines youll need an open end wrench and a crecent wrench (or another open end) and turn them in opposite directions so as not to damage the threads onthe cooler (or crack the casing)

Thanks, I thought it was somthing like that. As for scrap yards there's only 2 1st gens, one's an -SE (engine's long gone) and the other doesn't have the under radiator type cooler and and AE that's IT....sucks living on a small island. Oh well time for a parts road trip !!!!
