Oil cooler removal headache

OK, I got the classic oil/water cooler leak. I know I must remove the banjo fitting to get this off, but the water line sticks right in front of this banjo deal, can't get a wrench on it. What size wrench do I need? Can this all be done without going under the car (no ramps yet). I'd love to get a step by step from you folks that have actually done this & replaced the 4 'O' rings. I need to know how to access the fittings, wrench sizes needed, etc. The haynes manual is not much help. Local Mazda dealer has one guy that is expert on the old rotarys, he'll do it for $180.00!!! He says thats a deal, 'cause its a PITA.

Thanks!

Hmmm, Owensboro is not all that far from Knoxville, might just take you up on that! Can you check compression and adjust carb as well? More $$, of course! Can't find anyone that familiar around here, except the $180.00 guy.

Better watch it Mike, that's a tempting offer.. I may take you up on it myself. You're not that far from Huntingburg, IN and I'm getting ready to do this fix on my '83 here pretty soon!

I'm going to attempt the fix myself, but I'll definitely keep you in mind for some future modifications/fixes, Mike.

Where can I get those Viton seals like you found? I bought the OE Mazda rings, but if there's something better...
