Oil cooler lines and porting quesion
I own a 1985 rx7 with the 12a in it. I blew one of my oil cooler lines and it has a butterfly connection that goes on the back side of the motor (not sure if thats the right name). No one in my town has anything that i could use to replace it, i was wondering if i could make an adapter to stick back there and go ahead and run stainless steel lines or if i need to do something else with it??? I was also wanting to know how and were i could peripheral port my engine so i can pt the dual weber set up on my car??? I really don't know if i can do it or not??? and if it would be to much hassle for it? Im new into rotaries and and the car i bought is a project that i got for 200 bucks. Give me some ideas i can do to it to get it going a lil faster. i want to keep my 12a b/c it has 65,000 on it and ya its an underdog now but it won't be when i get it fixed up and running good.

I'm making my own lines with braided lines, adapters, and Aeroquip fittings.
And just so I am the first to say it, you probably could have found this info with a search...there have been several threads about it recently. This forum is famous for people responding by saying "search!", so get used to it!

Good luck!
