Oil cooler lines

I have an FC oil cooler on '83, it is mounted to the front of the round tube cross member. My lines are shot. the guy that put the '87 13b in cut the hoses to adjust for length and clamped them back together. They don't leak "yet" but I am not going to take the chance of blowing one. Obviously they were adjusted somehow, but maybe he was just replacing a blown line. Can anyone tell me what they have used? Will factory replacment FC lines work or will they be too short due to the placement of the cooler. Can you see anything wrong with just going to NAPA to get new ones made up?

Go to NAPA and get some custom lines.
