Yep. That's a bummer! But for the rx7club.com forum (and mazdatrix.com), I wouldn't have known either. In fact, the Mazda workshop manual warns against loosening the nuts that must be removed to get to the other two o-rings. Not quite sure what that is all about - but no regrets here. Good luck with the smog - that is always a hit or miss proposition with an old 7.

I changed the upper O rings today. They were flattened and hard, as expected. I used a 3/8 drive impact wrench on the 14mm nuts. I didn't even have to touch the banjo bolt, but I checked it for tightness (it was fine).

I seem to have had good luck with the beehive. I guess the real test will be whether it keeps oil temperatures in check.
