Funny, my car only smokes pretty good on start up. When it gets close to, but not all the way to op temp, its gone. No smoke at all under accel, decel, etc. Oil control rings, I'm sure....

I don't see the smoke , I can smell it past 4500 RPM.

Refilled with GTX Added a Quart of Lucas oil stabilizer , oil sits slightly above Full.
Note : Car starts like a charm now and gets to it's idle super quickly , lucas really does help with dry starts so at least there is that !

Update. The issue never went away.

I fixed it by buying a new Miata 🤣🤣🤣.

My 7 is currently rotting in my driveway.

I just quit my job ( for a new one) and will have two weeks free for the first time in months, I'm going to most likely pull the engine 🙏 Fingers crossed.

"Billable Hours" cutting into your RX7 maintenance time Frogman? Hadn't heard from you in awhile, and it looks like you have a rebuild project on your hands. Hope the possible rebuild, and the new job go well, thanks for the update.
