Oil Level Buzzer
Just got a 10AE about a month ago. And I noticed that when I drive it, under hard acceleration or hard cornering (not even hard, just above mormal) the warning buzzer sounds and the oil level light turns on. I checked the oil when the car was cold, and I have plenty. I'm positive its the oil light, though.
Did a search and it seems like its a common porblem but didnt really find a definite fix for it other than disconnect the buzzer, which I'm not willing to do.
Just not sure what to do about this, any help would be great.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Double check your oil while warm; not cold. Make sure that it is between the correct high/low indicators.
It is possible that the sender is bent, but highly unlikely unless engine work has been done.
The other reason that can cause the problem is if the oil is foaming because of poor quality, strange additives, or a failing oil pump.
Make sure you have not added anything funky to the oil (like MMO or other additives) and that the oil is the correct oil weight for the temp that you are driving (probably in FL I would figure you never see under 30F so you should be using 20W50) and if the oil smells like gas, that it is changed ASAP as the engine was probably flooded at some point recently.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check the oil when warm. Its due for an oil change pretty soon, too. I guess I'll see what happens then. The car came from New England so it could be the oil weight.
