oil on carb base?

My 79 has oil on the passenger side of the black plate at the base of the carb, drips onto lower hose then the ground. both oil injector lines are new, hoses on them secure. What else is there that could leak? Seems the faster I go the more oil is on the plate.

lower hose? are you referring to the brake booster line?
OR is it in the driver side

Lower radiator hose. I thought at first it was the oil metering pump or lines, but they are dry and the oil comes from above. Puddles on the black plate, runs over, drips on lower radiator hose and collects on the shield under the radiator. I'm thinking its one of the oil nipples on the carb itself, plugged? I'm going to verify that tommorrow.

check your oil cooler. Maybe a hairline crack that expands when hot.

I thought that at first, but that would not explain oil on the base gasket and the oil on the top of the radiator hose.
