My nearest dealer wanted 25 last year, and they don't stock them.

Stealerships earned their nickname. Unfortunately, there was never a great supply of quality aftermarket parts for these "unique" machines back in the 70's & 80's. A major reason many people hate the cars/engines.

Well installed a mazda 180* thermo. And an electric fan temp switch. Everythign works like is is supose to if I'm not moving. Problem is when I am cruising the temp dropw all the way to 140ish. You wouldn' tthink this would be possible? The thermostat should close at anythign under 180 keeping the engien temp up. Un fortunatly it's not doing it's job? I'm stuck... Never thought trying to get the car to run hotter would be a problem! Next step I think I'm going to cut out some card board and block off half the radiator.

Where are you measuring temp? Sounds like the maybe the radiator outlet?

I would probably leave as is unless you are having other problems associated with the cooler temps.

Werd.
If you have the temp probe stuck in the top hose, rather than in the engine, it will only tell you what the top hose temp is.
