if the slave or the master is bad... it would jolt ... but his mentioning it dies peacefully... I think there's a leak of some sort... not clutch related leak... but check the clutch first just to rule out...

but when i come to a stop the revs will slowly drop and if i dont press the acclerator in time the engine floods and i gota get out and unflood it to get it going agian..
and when i do get the accelerator in time the car revs really lumpy like its a bridge port.. and then when i take off its fine..

Sounds like something in the carb is sticking open....and it floods itself to a quick death.
Thats how my car dies in the morning. It will Purrrrrrr......die. Try some carb cleaner? Take a good look at the carb, see if anything looks a little gummed up.
It definately sounds like it just chokes itself fast....as if something sticks open when it should lower or close with idle.
Now, the carbuerator rocket scientists will explain what I said in big words.
1...........2...........3.........Go.

have u got ur a/c still in? mines been removed buyt the idle advance thingy is still in and it seems to happen to me alot more when i have the fan in the a/c mode.. but thats just a hunch.. really i have no idea and its anoying me..
the other thing i was thinking is that my acc pump is starting to get get clogged, because the car also leans out alot by the time im in 3rd gear...
looks like its time to douce the carb in some STRONG cleaner and disolve everything in its way...
