Replace Fuelfilter, if it gets clogged again, your tank is full of **** and needs cleaning.

Clean carburettor nozzles - better yet, rip it off and soak it in carb cleaner for a day.

Clean and lube linkages on the carb

Replace Sparkplugs

Check dizzy for oxidation inside the rotor cap

Those are the basics, if it still acts up, time to get into the emissions equipment.

Good luck

Just thinking it could be vacuum related, but then again I've never had a stock motor.

emissions equipment i think he was saying change your vacuum hoses and whatnot.

Does it sputter at a certain rpm, can you replicate it in any gear at any speed. All this is relevant information

Where are you getting cut and check valves from? I would make sure all the jets in the carb are clean. Also, the silver restrictor in the return fuel linecould be clogging up.

It's in the rubber return fuel hose. You can't miss it LOL

I think the check and cut valve is the white plastic valve that in the event your car flips over it stops fuel from getting to the engine and causing a fire. Yes you can by pass it. My car doesn't have one anymore.

IIRC That's only on the S3 models. It's called the inertia switch
