13B motor maintenance

My 85 GSL-SE has about 130,000 miles on it and I was wondering if a motor flush would work to clean it out some. Not that it is running bad, but I figure it couldn't hurt. Also, I was wondering if doing straight exhaust from the cat back would hurt the car, or sound the least bit good. Does anyone recommend an exhaust system or muffler for relatively cheap?

Best exhaust? Racing Beat. Proven time and time again. Personally, I'd just throw a cat replacement pipe on (legality should be checked first ) and a power pulse muffler and call it a day. I hear those provide more gains than with a header. Could be wrong, though.
With just the cat replacement pipe, the stock sound w/stock muffler sounds tinny and annoying.

What is this motor flush you speak of?

Throw some seafoam in there run the **** out of it, flush the coolant system and change the oil if you so desire and call it a day

^ for exhaust

Seafoam through the carb, seafoam in the oil. Drive the sh*t out of it for 20 miles, change oil.

No need to flush the motor. Just add 6-8 oz. of MMO to every fillup and in a couple months it'll be clean, running smooth, and well lubricated.

I was thinking of keeping the cat the way it is and replacing the stock muffler with a straight pipe. Where can I get sea foam?
