Noooo. :-(

Well, I've been working on my 79 Limited and I'm coming up with all kinds of problems. First being that I can't get the oil drain plug out as it is on there solid. I've tried the pipe trick, 6 points and 12 points, blowtorch to heat it... and it just won't come out. What are my choices?

Damn, I' say get some PB Blaster, a breaker bar, a longer pipe, and a rubber mallet. Eat your Wheaties and keep at it.

Take it to a quick change place, and let it become their problem. If they strip the threads, they will buy you a new oil pan....

BP Blaster did the trick!! Rock on guys, man oh man was that plug chewwwed up by the pipe-wrench that finally free'd her. (24" long wrench lol). Here's a picture, I know it's bad, but hey it's from my phone.

Lol,... of course, now I found out that my metallic fuel line is bad, so she's not up... yet *sigh*

That's to illustrate the amazing amount of pressure I had to put on the damn thing just to get it to move.

Already done, I have a spare 12a just sitting in my barn (just chilling... lol) so I took the plug out of that, and changed the filter and gave her 5 quarts of 20w-50 GTX. Now to work on the fuel lines as a piece of the metal fuel line leading from the tank just came off inside the rubber hose leading to the fuel filter when I was going to replace it. Blehh
