Noob front brake Question
Just got a front brake caliper hardware kit from victoria british and wondered how the Anti rattle spring fits? (whats it orientation?) the car was without any when i got it and there was no diagram with the kit.
Ive checked the Factory manual and it only pictures it seperate in the parts breakout.
Also got a stupid question; where is a suitable point situated to place the car on stands for an extended period? i know where the rears are, just not sure about the front.
Cheers guys

Matt,
The little bent portion of the anti-rattle spring fits into the hole on the inboard brake pad. The other side of the spring just rests inside of the outboard side of the caliper. After you slide the caliper over the pads, make sure the spring is not sticking out of the caliper on the outboard side. Hope that helps.

Hey thanks mate, got a bit of interest with this post but no responses?
I figured it out about an hour ago after saying "who cares" haha, its lasted this long without them. so i just took an educated guess as you described.
Oh well, if you look at the Diagram closely in the factory manual both ends of the spring have hooked ends to fit into the holes on the pads? hmm interesting lol. the ones i got from Black dragon only have one end hooked? they are in now and positioned correctly.
Hey you wouldnt happen to know where to position the car stands under the front would you? the manuals show a jacking point for tyre removal but no suitable load point for stands?
Cheers mate. Matt
