No Oil pressure at gauge

Any ideas Why I'm getting 0 to 2 psi oil pressure at the stock gauge? I replaced the oil pressure sending unit, so I know its not that. I know I have oil pressure because I tested it with a 30 psi mechanical pressure gauge, and it pinned at idle. I'm guessing the problems at the cluster.
It's and 84 gsl-se with a turbo II swap

You have to use the sending unit that matches the year (group) of the car's gauge pack.
