No more Front End Lowering Kit?

I'm picking up a new first gen and on my old one I was running that Racing Beat front lowering kit that replaced the towers and rasied them up. Are those still available anywhere?

Unless you find someone who has one laying around, no. I emailed mazdatrix a few months back and was told that racing beat no longer makes them...

I made my own back in the mid-80's.

Place the chassis up on jack stands.
Measure the camber of the front wheel as it sits at full droop.
Drop the struts out of the tops.
Using a saber saw or sawzall, carefully cut the tops out of your old strut towers.
Get some 1-1/4" wide mild steel bar or strap.
Bend the bar to match the contour of the strut tower.
Tack weld the bar to the inner fender.
Position the tops to give you the camber you desire.
(Temporary install struts into tops for measurements)
Tack weld the tops to the 1-1/4" wide steel bar.
Recheck the camber, compare to your original camber measurement.
Finish weld everything.
Reinstall struts
Realign front end

Now you can be lowered, and have stock spring rates.

On my current daily driver RX-7, I simply cut 1/2 turn off each coil spring to lower the nose of the car; much less work.

I've only seen a pic of these. Could one cut the top out of a spare body and weld them in?
