nitrous
nitrous
This question goes out to all those guys "running" nitrous or "personally know" or seen a nitrous setup on a 12a or carbed rotary engine.
Im interested in knowing what setup people are running, what shot and where can i find a bolt on kit that requires mild modification if any. let me know what people think.

OOOHHHH yeah! sometimes those kinda things stick in your head. Good one DriveFast7.
But seriously, i've read a ton of stuff on here searching the threads using "nitrous" as the keyword. I need more info, preferably first hand knowledge!!!

...except for putting the boxes back on eBay, same story. Between the RX-7 and the '68 Firebird parts-that-need-to-be-installed, I gotta have close to $20 g's of parts doing a whole bunch of nothing in my garage. Let me find the pic that shows what I had up my sleeve for the injection side of Furious' nitrous system yet to be installed.
It's on a different PC, so it'll be this afternoon before I can post it.
fwiw most "I installed NITROS" threads are followed up with "I need a rebuild now" threads.
Be very careful. Nitros is very dangerous to the manifold. Consider putting a laptop in your passenger seat to warn you of Danger to Manifold. And have it flash annoyingly bright.

but back to the original topic. How race tuned/set up is your engine because to run NOS safely, you need fairly high end components to the engine. otherwise you will just burn it up i believe
There is a rotary kit with an actual PN on the NOS website...however, it appears everyone so far has bought all the pieces from a variety of places and cobbled it together...you really need basic mechanic skilz and thoughtful safety switch layout to keep your engine together...each injector shown below will get the smallest nitrous jets for starters...I'm thinking 40 - 60 HP should be the result.
Ignore the green arrows, they were for an old thread removing the hot air flapper for a dyno-certified 5 HP gain...

Its not that hard. I personally seen a handful of carbed 12a's sprayed but the most NOS I personally saw used was on a 13b fb w/ a 150 shot running a holley 650 DP. That thing is crazy fast for a street car.

I watched that movie a couple of days ago. I'd forgotten how cheesy the dialog is. Still the best of the three, though.
