sorry guys. How rude for the host to not say anything for days!!! I dont have a bullet proof motor and just plan on using bolt on like carb kit and suspension upgrades. 2.5 inch exhaust with no cat. no port, too expensive for a throw away motor. My goal is to just have a weekend car to take done some of the fast cars in at the midnight runs...or atleast turn some heads. around here people only ride 1st gen 7's to do donuts. I guess since no one knows of a place that sells a complete kit, i'll just throw a 4bbl carb like holley or edelbrock on it and use a spacer that setup for that style. Does anyone see any flaws in this?

I seem to remember someone mentioning Stock 12a + Nitrous = Boom basically?.
The only way to ensure you don't detonate, is have the 3mm Ceramaics, and Water Jacket Modifications, otherwise you'll just wind up detonating and loosing the apex seals, thus embedding them in the Housing walls.
And there's no coming back from that one.

It's like the same thing with Boost on a 12a.
Without the 3mm Seals, You won't be able to run much boost for fear of loosing the motor.

I may be wrong though.

You are wrong. 3mm seals or 2mm seals had nothing to do with detonation. Niether does the water jacket mod.
...and finally Stock 12a + Nitrous does not = Boom ! Unless you have no clue what your doing and decide to run 75 shot or more.

^ Sometimes it's the only way we learn, don't feel bad about it.

Yep, what you heard is wrong on several levels. One thing you will learn quickly is don't believe anything you hear from a pistonhead and about 1/2 of what you hear from some of us rotards.

Fwiw, tuning in the long run is more critical than the fancy parts and mods. All rotarys prior to 86 were 3mm until you drop back to the twin dizzy 12A with 6mm carbon seals. Keep reading, you'll get there.

Iirc, there is an extensive nitrous writeup in the 2nd gen section. Ask a stupid question there, you can poop from 2 places.

what do you want to know? its a 13b half bridge 6 port (but the things in the ports are removed), 3mm apex seals, camden 7" with a #10 pulley, holley 650 double pumper (still working on finding the right jetting). i just put it on at the end of the season, and still have some issures to work out on it (mainly the jetting and such), so its not really running right as of yet. i'll try to snap some pics tomorrow before work. as for the NO2, i have an NX twin solinoid wet plate set up in the garage. have to order jets for that too, but its not going on until the spring.

am considering going 75 hit on my e46 m3. have done lots of reading and basically the system operates under the following conditions
1) between 4000-7200 rpm
2) sufficient fuel pressure
3) throttle position sensor reads 4.5ohm (ie foot flat)

now as you can see there is a lot of electronics here so that you don't mess anything up, yet provide you with a decent kick when you need it

i don't even know where to start if i have to think about how i'm going to ensure a failsafe system on my p-port rotary running 51IDA

Weather-proof micro switch on the throttle linkage using an "ear" to click it at WOT, and you're list can be filled on its requirements easily.
