Hi All,
In the process of working on my '83 Nikki carb I have somehow managed to bend both the Throttle Return Spring Lever and the Throttle Sub-Return Lever on the throttle arm assembly. (Part numbers 145 and 148 from the Mazda Carb manual).
I'm hoping someone with Nikki experience can take a look at the pics below and confirm (or deny) that both of the bent arms should be pointing straight upward (in the orientation I have the levers sitting). This would correspond to pointing directly toward the body of the carb when assembled on the throttle arm:
