nikki carburetor

im looking for a nikki for my 83.. my top inlet screws on the air horn are stripped... any help would be great...

Yeah, you can usually get them off using vice grips. That's how I got mine off, after receiving advice from Sterling. Good luck!

its not that they wont come out the hole to screw them into is stripped.. theres no threads left...

If you've got a friend with a good tap and die set you could put some threads back on it and use a different size bolt.

we thought about that but the thing is wouldnt the whole in the new bolt let in more gas?

Pretty sure he is talking about the banjo bolts on the inlet/outet of the carb. My guess is that he overtightened them and stripped out the threads in the aluminum airhorn.
