After all is said and done, the car is much faster and drives wonderfully around town as well. The only thing I might do differently in the future is to go a little smaller on the primary jets and make up the difference with the secondaries so my gas mileage doesn't take such a hit while cruising. For stage 2, I will be boost prepping it. But I have a lot of money to throw away and supporting mods to do before then so that one will have to wait

Also, I found more pics of the build process on another memory card, so I'll share a few more.

One secondary venturi bored with the dremel:

All venturis bored and polished:

Booster Venturis trimmed:

And here's some shots of my modified linkage. Cams for the cruise control and choke were all removed, as was everything else that wasn't needed to keep the spacing or serve some other purpose:

Trust us we aren't lying

Since we're on Nikkis, Just curious. Has anyone ever tried making a dual four barrel setup with Nikkis? Seems like the CFM of the stock carbs would work well for an engine with serious mods.

Great work in here.

Hey Lizard, since we are both in TN, would you want to mod one of my Nikki's for me

Seriously, if you do, PM me! I can ship it whenever, and I'll be in Knoxville on Nov. 5th for the MTSU v UT game (GO BLUE).

I haven't seen it, but it may be possible if you properly sync the carbs. And obviously a manifold would have to be custom made. It would be expensive and complicated. Maybe a simpler option would be a couple of carbs off of a motorcycle that are already made to run synced. Still, you run into fabrication with the manifold. There are easier and less expensive options.

I could be persuaded, although I just started a blowthrough project on mine so I'm going to be pretty busy in the next couple months (or years, according to most of the turbo 12a threads I've read.) But if you're not in a hurry then maybe we can work something out. Feel free to PM me and we can discuss it further.
